The wolf whose face was used for this creation was legally culled for population control by Alaska Natives, who use the meat, bones, and rest of the hides for clothing and traditional crafts. It came from a very, VERY big wolf with prime winter fur. It has been professionally tanned and treated to ensure it will last a long time to come.
I have hand-molded the skin over a hand-carved form to make this mask. It can be tied on top or over the wearer's head, depending on preference. Two additional straps feature red glass beads so that you can secure feathers or other charms to it for additional interestingness.
NOTE: This wolf was NOT purchased from trophy hunters or any fur farm. I do not believe in supporting such people or establishments by buying animal parts directly from them.
