One of my favorite images taken in Black Rock City, this is, I believe, one of the most wholesome representations of all that embodies "Burning Man" to me.
This was shot on the way to watch the Man Burn, an experience that I'm not soon to forget. I was pretty high shortly after this image was taken, and was also one of the first to rush up to the flames after the Man structure had fallen. I felt like I'd been swept up in some massive energy which flowed from all the people gathered there and despite my dizziness, I moved with them around the fire until the heat became too much for me and I had to retreat.
Something happened after this which I still can't find the words to describe. I'm sure I'll write about it sooner or later, but in the meanwhile, feel free to check out my blog: [link]
I'll have more photos posted on the blog than here on DA in order to better illustrate the stories I've chosen to share.
