Description
Work in progress of a new face mask/headdress, created from one of the faces provided to me by the Alaska Natives. They use all the other parts of the wolves for meat, clothing, and crafting material. All are legally culled per State regulations and came with CITES paperwork which will accompany the completed products once they leave my hands.
This wolf was pretty large and had GORGEOUS coloration. This is just the test-fit to be sure it works for the form. I'll rehydrate it and leave it to dry for a few days. It will be ready to be made into a headdress once this process is complete. I'm thinking of embellishing this one with polished moonstone flake beads and black pearls. Recycled black deerskin straps will be riveted to the lower jaw skin with silver-plated rivets.

That's Pretty Neat. Not that Big a Fan of Hunting. Wouldn't Have the Stomach, or even Heart to Shoo Such a Majestic Animal, but I Do like the Fantastic Work of Taxidermy. Funny, huh? You do a Great Job.
