Final: Leopard Totem

Done in broken Sharpie and mechanical pencil. This is a cropped section from the full image of myself wearing a headdress made from my totem animal, the Amur Leopard. It is the first in a series of drawings which will feature my friends and acquaintances as wearing headdresses or costumes made from their actual totem animals.

In case you haven't noticed, I've been rather scarce here on the internet rather recently, and while part of that is because I'm busy with school, the rest has to do with the fact that there is no internet in my dorm room. And the tech guys still haven't done crap about it.

In other news, I made some friends who live in the apartments across the street. I got a kitten from a friend of mine, which I obviously couldn't keep in the dorm, which now lives with said friends.

Problem is, the guy who introduced me to the rest of the guys ditched me at a party last night and I had to walk myself home, totally crossfaded and high on edibles. I told him he was a dick because of it, and I doubt he wants to talk to me anytime soon. I'm pathetic.

I feel sad now. I want to see the kitten, but I don't want to be over there if there's going to be any drama.

I should have just let the incident slide. But I was pissed off.

It's common courtesy to make sure everyone gets home safe after a night like that, and since he was the one who invited me, that duty should have been his.

I got home, but in my altered state of mind, I thought I'd run into Grizzly Bear out there in the dark, and I was fucking terrified.

I fumbled with the keys, let myself in, ate, watched MythBusters, and then crashed.

Woke up a while ago to find that I had blisters and bruises and burns, though whether they were the result of the party or my retreat into the woods earlier that same day, I'm not sure.

Either way, I feel like shit, and I just want to cuddle up with the kitty and write my papers while listening to Sublime.
