Aslan, a 450-pound African lion at the Woodland Park Zoo. He walked right past me at the viewing window, and then paused to stare off into the distance at something which I could not see. It's hard to imagine how big lions really are until you are standing face-to-face with one. Once you do, it's almost overwhelming.

I'll soon be posting some photos my African lioness skin headdress in progress. I'll have a bit of scrap lion skin left over for sale on Etsy, so if you're interested, let me know. I accept paypal only at this time!

this is by far the most beautiful lion i've ever seen. he deffinitely earned the name of Aslan.
