Burning Man 2012: One of the most life-altering and mind-blowing events I've ever attended. Last year was my 'Virgin Burn' and I've told myself that I shall now attend every year hereafter for as long as I can.

It's wild, emotional, chaotic, loud, and somewhat healing. In a crowd of 60,000 participants, I saw not one instance of malice or hatred between anyone there.

If 60,000 people in an inhospitable desert can live together in not just peace but in open friendliness, then I retain my faith that the rest of society can do the same.
