Falls Creek Falls

Went on a very short-notice camping trip with my man and a friend of ours in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest Land in Washington. Falls Creek Falls is possibly one of the most under-rated waterfalls in the entire Pacific Northwest - most likely because it's kind of hard to Google it with such a generic name as "Falls Creek Falls". I mean really - how much less creative could you have possibly been in naming the thing?

Anyhow, I'd urge anyone and everyone in the Pacific Northwest to view this phenomenal sight at least once in their time here on Earth. The hike, the scenery, the many smaller waterfalls you'll spy along the way - all add up to the fact that this is one of the best places to spend a day with friends and loved ones.

I'm continually reminded how lucky I am to live in place like the Pacific Northwest when I see places like this.

In other news, in case you haven't heard, I'm going to be moving - again. This will be the 4th time in a year, so I'm quite ready to finally settle down and hang out for more than a few months' time.

This round, I've been granted the opportunity to live in my very own apartment situated right between Oswego Lake and the Willamette River. I'll be literally RIGHT across the street from one of my favorite nature parks, will be close to two different grocery stores and two different post offices, and best of all, I'll live just a few blocks away from Bear!

Having my own place will open up new opportunities for me and for my work, so expect to see a new influx of projects and artwork here in the coming months!
